Angela the Cranky Vampire Actress Sidekick

I'm doing another skit at church this week and I'm very excited. We (the writer/director, the other actress, and I) spent about four hours at the church yesterday, rehearsing. Doug was kind enough to "work from home" so that I could go. He did work when he could, but it's not so easy to do with a toddler running around. Anyway, if you'd like to see my second stage performance, it's this weekend at Gateway Church - service times are 9:30, 11:00, and 12:30.

Once I got home from all that rehearsing, I was exhausted and cranky! I was a very minimalist mother yesterday. I didn't have the energy for things like... speaking... or moving. I don't know if the irritability was due to the fatigue, PMS, or the fact that I spent four hours playing a character who is sad and angry at herself and the world. Either way, I am pleased to report that a good night's sleep and a nice, sweaty workout this morning have restored my sanity.

I had a lot of strange dreams last night and in one of them, I was part of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. For those of you who watch the show, instead of the three friends being Buffy, Willow, and Xander, it was Buffy, Willow, and Angela. The most disturbing thing about the dream was when a lady fell off an amusement park ride and bounced a couple of times. In true dream fashion, however, she walked away from it.
