Yesterday afternoon, I heard Lila wake up from her second nap and start playing and talking to herself. After a few minutes, I went in to get her out of bed. As I opened the door and looked in, I said, "Hi!" She smiled at me and said, "Hi, Ma-ma."
Do you hear that liquidy sound? That is my heart melting. :)

That is the moment when you realize that you are the most important female in your child's life. Grandmothers, aunt, great aunts and cousins may come and go but you are Mama, and that is the ultimate bond.
