I don't have much time to write because Lila just woke up from a nap, but I wanted to check in. We spent four solid days of last week/weekend painting at the new house. What you see in this photo is the color of Lila's new room. Purple is her favorite color these days, so she got a purple room! There are those who seem to feel that our choice of wall colors reflects some sort of character flaw, but frankly my dear... TAKE A HIKE!And now I must go. Things around here are NUTS!

I am excited about your new place. I have been butt busy with photo and house work myself so I am not sure I'll be able to help tomorrow. I'll call if my schedule opens up. -michele
Did I tell you that when I was in high school Debbie and I both had purple bedrooms? They were different shades, more like lavender I suppose. We also had bedspreads that came from the same collection at Sears. I know less about fabric than I do about sewing, which is nothing, but hers was a gauzy, synthetic fabric of some kind and mine was quilted cotton, but they had the same purple flowered design on them. That's one reason I like the movie "Dick" so much. The girls bedrooms look very familiar!
