I've not seen a lot of Audrey Hepburn movies (actually, the only other movie i've ever seen her in was 'my fair lady'), but I can see why people love her. She did have great style - although I'm not sure how much of it was her and how much was the wardrobe person! At any rate, she carried the style well. I think I saw in the opening credits that the movie was based on a book. If so, I'd like to read it...
Clearly there's not much going on around here (finally). After an insane several days, today has been very quiet. All I really want to do is sit around in my pajamas and watch TV, but that's not possible with a little one to keep up with.

How funny! I just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's for the first time a few weeks ago :). I also watched Roman Holiday, which was good as well. I just learned the other day that Audrey Hepburn's stylist was Givenchy. Just an interesting tidbit.
Being a major Audrey Hepburn fan from "way back", I believe that her style in real life was pretty much what it was on the screen. She loved "pixie" type clothing on and off the screen. Givenchy was her favorite designer for her entire lifetime, which was cut short by cancer. After retiring from movies, she dedicated much of her time to UNICEF.

I had very mixed emotions after watching Breakfast for the first time. I thought it was sad too. I thought all movies were supposed to have happy endings, until I started watching (and reading) Stephen King.
