Wow, it's been longer than I thought since I posted anything. It's been a busy weekend. It's going to be a busy week. Christmas is like that! :) One lesson that I learned over the weekend - never go shopping on the Saturday before Christmas! Especially in an area that is packed with stores. And extra especially, never set foot inside Pottery Barn this close to Christmas. It's just not worth it.

Doug and I are headed for Dallas tomorrow for a few days of eating and present opening. We just have a few more gifts to wrap and we'll be ready to go! It's going to be a relatively laid-back and relaxing Christmas for us this year, due largely to the fact that my family keeps spreading farther and farther out. It is no longer possible to squeeze five Christmas gatherings into a day and a half!

Psalm 37:39-40 - The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.
